We provide actionable feedback on your social sciences research proposal or research report/paper/dissertation in the form of written annotations and video feedback of between 5 and 10 minutes. We will highlight where you are on the right track, and where improvements/changes might help. Then it’s up to you to take that feedback and make your work as strong as you can! We specialise in undergraduate and postgraduate research (both quantitative and qualitative) in psychology or interdisciplinary research with a strong psychology component, but will consider other projects, so feel free to reach out. The feedback you receive from us will make your work stronger, and will also help you develop your own skill set for the future. We hope our services will help you reach your goal, be it maximising your academic performance, getting into your master's or PhD programme, landing a grant or any other goal.
Because we have years of experience shaping research. We are qualified to give you outstanding feedback on undergraduate or postgraduate psychology proposals or research papers/reports. Our unique approach means a one-time fee (instead of paying for multiple consulting sessions) which will give you specific, actionable feedback. No scheduling or social interaction required! Our service is fast and will lead to improvements in your work. In learning how to improve your work, you will gain skills and knowledge that you can use in future.
Absolutely not. Getting advice on a research proposal or draft is really important and everyone should do it.
No. That would be academic dishonesty. We don't write anything for you, but we will advise on phrasing or suggest content for sections of your work.
No, sorry.
No, we focus on the content of the work and the appropriate application of research approaches. However, we will flag any awkward phrasing, typos, structural problems or non-academic writing.
Yes! If you have a supervisor or someone else who can offer you valuable suggestions on your work, you should take it. This might be instead of or in addition to the services we provide.
The pricing structure is transparent, with price depending on the length of your written work.
We will answer brief follow-up questions to clarify any points arising from the feedback. This is included in the price. If you would like to discuss your work further or want ongoing support, we offer consultation meetings at an additional fee. Get in touch with us to arrange.
No. The feedback we provide will help YOU make the requisite changes, and doesn’t meet the threshold whereby we would need to be credited
No, we have particular expertise in health and social psychology. However, having devised, supervised and marked hundreds (if not thousands) of research projects, we have the expertise to advise you appropriately. We have very strong research skills, extensive experience of the research process and knowledge of the writing and publication process. We can’t be expected to have extensive knowledge of the literature in your particular domain, but we can advise on the strength of your academic argument as supported by the literature you cite.
We intend to provide clear, actionable feedback so that you can improve your work, and also increase your skills and knowledge. (See our “Further Resources” page for information that can help you use feedback
effectively.)
Some of the aspects we may comment on include:
- The strength of your literature review and justification for your research questions
- The structure, appropriateness and feasibility of your RQ
- Your methodology including process, instruments, participants and recruitment and analyses
- Your interpretation of the results and linking to past literature, implications, limitations and conclusions.
We don't know what success might mean for you, but we sadly can't guarantee it. We can guarantee that we will provide useful and actionable feedback on your work and if you follow our suggestions, your work will be stronger.
